St. Tammany Parish Government Names New Chief Administrative Officer and Deputy


(Targeted News Service Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) MANDEVILLE, La., July 18 -- St. Tammany Parish issued the following news: The Brister Administration announced today that Gina Campo, currently the Chief Operating Officer in St. Tammany Parish Government, is expected to move into the position of Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) pending confirmation by the Parish Council at their upcoming August 7, 2014 meeting. Trilby Lenfant, currently Director of Intergovernmental Relations, will assume the duties of Deputy CAO. Ronnie Simpson, currently the Director of the Department of Public Information, will assume many of the duties of the office of Intergovernmental Relations.



"Within our staff we have people who are immensely qualified and incredibly capable of stepping up to the plate when asked to do so," Pat Brister, St. Tammany Parish President said. "Both Gina and Trilby are two such professionals, and I thank them for agreeing to take on these responsibilities. With their help we will continue to proudly serve the citizens of this Parish, and accomplish great things together." Beverly Gariepy, former Chief Financial Officer of St. Tammany Parish Government, resigned from her position to pursue other interests. "Beverly's initiatives will have a lasting positive effect on the way Parish Government operates. We wish her all the luck in her future endeavors," Brister said.
