'Big Bang Theory' Star Jim Parsons Ditches Starter Home For Robert Pattinson's Digs

This article is more than 9 years old.

Jim Parsons has parted ways with his Los Feliz starter home, mere months after snapping up Robert Pattinson’s glittering estate for $6,375,000.

Property records show that Parsons went out with a whimper, instead of ‘Bang,’ on his smaller, more modest house, selling the spread on June 20,2014 for $1,575,000. He had high hopes for more dough when he listed the place for $1,850,000 in January 2014. While he didn’t get full asking, he did rake in more than the $1,300,000 he paid for the place in April 2009.

Located just a few blocks away from his new, bigger home in the same Los Feliz neighborhood, Parson’s just-sold starter home is a beautifully remodeled and immaculately decorated hillside home with 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, 2 half baths and 2,827 square feet of living space spread out over two levels.

The open floor plan features fireplaces in the living and dining rooms, and a spacious cook’s kitchen.

The lower-level features a den/office and a master suite with sitting room, large en-suite bathroom with spa tub and separate shower, and a huge walk-in closet.

Outside, a charming private entry patio contains an outdoor fireplace.

We suspect that Parsons and his fiance Todd Spiewak aren’t sweating the lower-than-hoped-for sale price as they nest nearby in their new, upgraded, A-list digs. Not ones to keep it all in one Los Feliz neighborhood, the engaged duo also spent $1.822 million for a NYC apartment near Gramercy Park in August 2013.
