Congress candidate Babubhai Jashubha Chudasama has taken over as President of Barwala taluka panchayat unopposed.

During the election, Congress party’s all 11 members were present while BJP’s all elected members were absent. Congress workers and local leaders celebrated victory of their candidate.

According to a statement issued by the Gujarat Congress, Barwala taluka panchayat members, Ahmedabad district Congress’s working president Amarsinh Solanki, incharge general secretary Pankajsinh Vaghela, district observer Mahendrasinh Padheria completed the task of election successfully under the guidance of state committee and successfully continued power in Barwala taluka panchayat.
