On Wednesday, the Atheist were accused of being meanies and anti Christianity, We were told that we will not say anything anti Muslim because we hated the Christian God. To dispel the notion that we don't like the Christian God we will have a look at Judaism, Islam and Christianity. They have the same God, thus if we don't like the Christian God, we don't like the Muslim God either. Having said that hating that which does not exist is impossible.
Christians hate Zeus, Thor, Amo Ra and a few thousand other God's that don't exist. By that logic, Christians hate fairies, unicorns, elves, Santa Claus, Cthulu, The Spaghetti Monster and every other mythical creature. Why do they hate Pinochio and Sleeping Beauty so?
Islam and Christianity share the same root, Judaism. We can posit that Christianity is Judaism v 2, and Islam is Judaism v 3. We know the following things are accepted by all three religions. For the sake of argument all descriptions below can be attributed to the "True Followers: of said religions, We are not talking about the new age Christians that live and let live or the so called peaceful Muslims, but we are talking about the devout, the orthodox and the fundamentalist.
God is the alpha and the Omega, The one and only and must be feared and worshiped.
God sent prophets to Earth to teach mankind his word.
God gave mankind 10 commandments to follow and they must be obeyed
Satan is evil and should not be listened too
There is Hell and there is paradise.
Women are not to be trusted, They are the original cause of sin.
Women do not wear the pants and are subject to the law of their husbands.
Women do not preach.
They also have the following in common A Holy Book proclaiming the truth of their religion
There is no evidence for the existence ofthe alpha and omega
Judaism do not accept that Jesus met the prophecies and are still waiting for the Messiah.
Christians believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah
Islam holds that Christ was a prophet and have no messianic prophecy
Islam accepts the virgin birth of Christ, however they worship only God and not the prophets.
We have established that Christians and the Catholic's worship the same non existent God the the Jews and Muslims do. The reason most of us here in News24 land spend more time debunking Christianity than Islam and Judaism is that we live in a country that has as the majority religion, Christianity. Not very long ago it was the State religion and we are aware that if we allow it our secular state will become a religious state.
It has been 20 years since our country was given a new lease of life, and made a secular state, yet we still have preachers and teachers in Government schools spreading the lies and falsehoods of their particular brand of God and his side kicks. When the government schools start preaching shariah I will argue more vociferously against Islam, Heck if they start promoting Satanism I will write more articles about how Satan is as real as God. There is no evidence for his existence either.
I was challenged to write down 5 things I had learned from Islam and Satanism. I think we have Islam covered above but just for fun, I will give you a few more here.
Islam is the religion where pedophilia is the norm, Even the prophet married a 6 year old kid and made love to her at 9. Islam is the religion where boys and girls cannot enjoy each others company without companions. A step brother that grew up with his "sister" may not be alone in each others company because he may just be tempted by her. A woman that is raped is at fault because she is the temptress. Touching anything related to a pig is bad, you may just be consigned to hell for having a pig skin wallet. Islam the religion of peace that dictates that defectors be killed, don't dare become an Atheist in their localities.
Satanism, What I learned from satanism is that pleasure and hedonism are not bad things, Enjoying your body and those of your fellow travelers is a joy. Satan like God does not actually exist, there is no provable evidence for his existence except Christians and Schizophrenics that get told to do bad stuff by him. He only ever tempts followers of the Abrahamic faith. Satanism is reverse Christianity. These people are the original rebels without a clue. Oh and Satan does not take personal meetings at cross roads in the dark, even if you want to trade your soul for wealth and fame.
For those Christians that still don't understand. Atheists are NOT Satanists. Satan is NOT a real creature, Demons are not real. There is as much evidence of Satan's existence as there is for God. It's all in the mind, a mythical creature to blame for the short comings of men and women. It has always been easier to blame someone else, It wasn't me it was my brother is a cry heard by parents every day, You can't blame your brother when he doesn't live in your house anymore so it becomes time to blame Satan, the Tokoloshe, the imps and the Leprechaun.
