Longines is the official partner, as well as the official timekeeper and watch of Glasgow 2014, the XX Commonwealth Games. 52 years after its first association with the Games in Perth, Australia, the Swiss watch brand has renewed its support to this multi-sport event, which is to be held from 23rd July-3rd August in Glasgow, Scotland. Involving 71 teams of athletes from the Commonwealth of Nations and Territories, this will be the largest competition ever held in the host nation. The Swiss watch brand will provide the On Venue Results (OVR) service that includes the handling, the processing and the broadcasting of the official times and scores of the different sport events.
