MNA threatening to kill my family, claims woman

Murder case

ISLAMABAD - A woman has accused MNA Nafeesa Khattak of threatening to kill her entire family over a family dispute.
“Nafeesa Khattak, the PTI MNA, has attacked me twice. Her men are chasing me and my family. I need security,” Rukhsana Zia told media Thursday.
Rukhsana, the other of Sikander Zia, who is facing the charges of killing six members of a family, claimed that Nafeesa had conspired against her son to save the skin of those who have actually killed the six-member family of her daughter.
Sikander is currently languishing in Adiala Jail for killing his sister, brother-in-law and their four kids on 13 October in Safari Vilas of Bahria Town Islamabad.
Nine months later to this tragedy, the mother of the accused broke her silence and claimed her son was wrongly implicated in the case. Instead, she accused Nafeesa of influencing the Islamabad police to wrongly implicate her son in the case.
She claimed that Nafeesa was conspiring against her son (Zia) to save the skin of those who had killed the six-member family. However, she could not explain why was she protecting the ‘actual killer’.
She appealed to President, Prime Minister, Interior Minister and Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice of this incident and direct the relevant authorities to ensure protection of his family.
