GURGAON: Residents of Parsvnath Exotica condominium have accused the developer of not returning maintenance deposit of about Rs 9 crore to them despite handing over maintenance of the towers to the RWA in January 2012.
The money was collected when residents took possession of the premium apartments on Golf Course Road around four years back.
Exotica Condominium Owners' Association president Amit Bansal said, "At the time of possession Parasvnath took interest free maintenance deposit of Rs 50 per sq ft from all owners as well as Rs 15,000 per apartment as power backup security.
That money should have been returned to us in 2012, but they haven't done that."
A senior Parsvnath official said, "We had handed over maintenance to the residents in 2012. We are initiating talks with the RWA regarding the matter of maintenance deposit. We will sort out the issue soon."
