Sruthi Hariharan, who plays the second lead in Lakshmy Ramakrishnan's Nerungi Vaa Muthamidaathe, had quite a 'stinky' experience while shooting for the film. She says, 'It is a travel film and there is a scene in which I had to travel in a truck loaded with onions. I had a terrible time shooting for the scene. First of all, I don't like onions. Since it was for a scene, I had to stay in the truck that was full of pungent smelling onions for quite some time.
In fact, all of us had a tough time shooting the scene.'
The Kannada actress, who is making her Kollywood debut with this film, plays a rural college girl in it. The film has Piaa Bajpai playing the female lead. 'There is a perception that two female actors working in a film will always be at loggerheads. But Piaa and I got along really well. We have a couple of scenes together and we enjoyed shooting those sequences. She is a fun person to work with. Shabir and Paari (male leads of the film) were also very friendly.'
