After basking in the success of the movie Oka Crime Katha , filmmaker P. Suneel Kumar Reddy is now trying to draw the audiences to the theatres with a fresh theme, Oka Criminal Prema Katha.

With majority of the artistes hailing from Andhra Pradesh, including Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, and Srikakulam districts, the film focuses on a fresh storyline that brings out unspoken miseries of the present generation.

At the movie’s audio launch programme here on Thursday, film’s co-producer Kurra Vijay Kumar said the film focuses on a dark romantic subject that packs many sensitive elements into it. He said the movie portrays muted sufferings of young girls that often remain unnoticed.

Like most Suneel Kumar Reddy’s films, this one too intends to bring out hidden facts of life in a realistic manner.

Manoj Nandam, Anil, Priyanka, and Divya play the lead roles and star-maker L. Satyanand is surprising the audience with a plum role in the flick.

Produced by Y. Ravindra Babu and music scored by Immadi Praveen, the film is all set to hit 145 theatres across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on Friday under the banner of Sravya Films.

Along with a handful of fresh faces and supportive actors of the movie, president of Uttarandhra Journalists’ Front M.R.N. Varma, Veera Raju of V-Max theatre, city-based singer Namrata also took part in the audio launch.
