The registration process for the candidates who wish to apply for the AICTE approved national level Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) has begun. The registration will continue till August 25.

The registration for CMAT is a three-step process:

Step 1: Self registration: The candidates are required to read instructions and self-register, first of all. The candidates are required to enter as NEW USER for the first time. Thereafter, the candidates should read the instructions carefully, accept the declaration and proceed. Now the candidates need to self-register for which they need to enter few basic details. The candidates on verifying all the entered details should submit the same. Submitting this page will generate a unique six digit password. This password will be shown on the screen and will be sent to the candidates via e-mail and SMS. Whenever, the candidates need to log in to the registration portal, the candidates will come as an EXISTING USER and will be required to login with their e-mail ID and this unique six digit password. Step 2: Payment process: The payment can be made in two modes:
Online mode
Cash payment in SBI Bank

Online payment: By using a credit card/debit card/net banking, the candidates can pay online. Once the payment is successfully done, the candidates will receive a confirmation E52-mail and SMS. Once they have received the successful payment confirmation, they can proceed with the remaining part of registration process.

Cash payment: If the candidates select this option, they will see a challan on their screen with their details already filed in. The candidates are required to take three printouts of this challan, fill in the details wherever required in all the copies, and walk in to their nearest SBI bank branch with cash on the next day of generation of Challan.
*Cash deposit will be accepted only from the next day of Challan generation. The last date to pay cash in bank is August 26 and from there onwards to complete registration is August 28.

In return to the cash deposit, the bank will give you one copy of challan with their stamp and a journal number written on it. The candidates should ensure that the journal number is written clearly. Within the next 48 hours, your payment will get updated in the registration portal. The candidates will receive an e-mail and SMS confirming that your payment data has got updated in the registration portal.
The candidates should then re-login to the portal and proceed with the remaining part of registration process.

Step 3: The candidates are now required to fill the remaining form. Once they have filled the complete form and assured that the data entered in accurate, they should click on 'proceed' button. Thereafter, they will have to confirm by ticking a check box that "I have checked all the entries filled in by me and found them correct" and click on 'Submit'. Once the candidates confirm, their form will get finally submitted and no change in the data is possible after this.

The candidates will see a message on their screen stating "Thank you for successfully registering for the AICTE CMAT September 2014 exam. Please login from September 12, 2014 onwards to download your exam ADMIT CARD. For latest updates, please visit www.aicte-cmat.in
