Multiple incidents: Two killed, one injured in Taxila

A pistol and two bullets were recovered from the crime scene.

At least two people were killed and one injured in three incidents in Taxila.


In the first incident, a man was shot dead under unexplained circumstances in Bhalar Tope village.

The local police, while quoting family members, said Tajamal Shah went out of his house on Tuesday and did not return.

Later, his bullet-riddled body was recovered from a stall in the bathroom of a local shrine.

A pistol and two bullets were also recovered from the crime scene.

In the second incident, a man was tortured to death by his rivals over a monetary dispute.

Shaukat Mehmood lodged a report with the police that Sher Muhammad, Miskeen Muhammad, Niaz Muhammad, Chanzaib and Ismail allegedly killed his brother. The body of the deceased was taken to Taxila Tehsil Headquarters Hospital and later handed over to his family.

Separately, Ghulam Qamar was shot and injured by unidentified people and fled. Separate cases have been registered under the relevant laws.

Meanwhile, a man was shot dead over a family feud in Kahuta, it was reported on Wednesday.

The victim, identified as Shakeel Ahmed, was killed by his rivals over a marriage dispute.

Waheed lodged a report with the local police that Faizan and Adil allegedly killed his brother.

He added that his brother was married to a woman who was formerly Faizan’s fiancée. The police registered a case against the suspected men.
