Ankush Chaudhari's Gandhian shelved?
There is a strong buzz that actor Ankush Chaudhari's film 'Gandhian'for which he was reportedly paid a sum of Rs 40 lacs has been shelved.
The film was in very initial stages when it was announced last year. However, sources inform that the film was put on hold due to lack of funds with the producers. The makers spoke about the film being a fusion of Dadagiri and Gandhigiri, speculations about the film being inspired from the Bollywood film 'Lagey Raho Munnabhai' were ripe.

The makers refutes these rumours though. Vishal Ghag, a member of the production house, said, "Raiees Lashkaria, the producer, is busy with the upcoming assembly elections and hence the project has been put on hold." Srikanth VV, the director of 'Gandhian', said, "There are no financial problems. The production house is reputed and a big name in the industry. Because of Lashkaria's political commitments, the project has tentatively been postponed. We will start as soon as everything is sorted out."
Ankush is currently busy with Aditya Sarpotdar's 'Classmates' where he will be seen romancing Sonalee. The actor will also be seen in a biopic on revolutionary Bhai Kotwal.
