We had told you earlier that Kichcha Sudeep had named his Karnataka Premier League team WAR, which stands for We Are Rockstars. Sources have revealed to Bangalore Times that practice sessions have begun, but surprisingly Sudeep and his team have been travelling to the outskirts of the city on a regular basis for this. WAR team members have reportedly been playing practice matches at a ground in Nelamangala.
Usually, this would prove to be a deterrent, given that
Nelamangala is on the outskirts of the city. But what is interesting is that the players, and Sudeep, have both admitted that they don’t mind the distance since the ground that they practice on is beautiful. Also, since it is so far away, there are fewer chances of onlookers disturbing them, making it easier for the players to concentrate on getting their game right.
The
KPL tournament is slated to begin on August 23 and will continue till September 16.
