The Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra and Conductor Keith Lockhart return with their sparkling and beloved Holiday Pops concert. Capturing the magic of the Christmas season and the winter charms of New England, the Boston Pops will perform their signature “Sleigh Ride,” as well as other holiday classics, and new arrangements of seasonal favorites. The magnificence of hearing these pieces performed by America’s Orchestra is not to be missed! Santa Claus will make a guest appearance during the concert’s finale followed by the traditional Boston Pops Holiday Sing-a-long to bring this special performance to a close.
Celebrating its 129th anniversary, the Boston Pops have presented a wide variety of music, collaborating with some of the world’s most respected artists of our time. During the past 19 years, Lockhart has led the Pops on numerous national tours, including performances at Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall, 74 television shows and 13 recordings. Today “America’s Orchestra” continues to bring holiday magic and world-class performances to audiences throughout New England.
