At a time when the residents of Mumbai are facing problems due to waterlogging, Shiv Sena and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) are bickering over credit for creating the first wifi zone in Shivaji Park.

The MNS and the Shiv Sena had been on a confrontational path on this issue. Raj Thackeray had promised to start the service in 2012. When MNS workers started work in the park, Shiv Sena-controlled BMC blocked the work, saying they had not taken permission.

The MNS then created a wifi zone in Wile Parle. Using the wireless technique, they also started the service in Shivaji Park.

Maharashtra will go to poll later this year to choose legislators for its assembly. Both the parties will woo the Marathi vote bank.
