Young woman with sad eyes searches for cure for mysterious EDEN virus, protagonist uses Connect Jump to go to digital world

The September issue of Shueisha's V Jump magazine is announcing on Saturday that a character named Yūko Kamishiro in Bandai Namco Games' upcoming Digimonstory Cybersleuth PlayStation Vita game.

Yūko is a young woman with black hair and sad eyes who meets the player at a hospital while researching the mysterious EDEN virus. When she encounters the player, she gives him/her a certain request.

The magazine is also unveiling various gameplay features, including the main character's “Connect Jump” ability, a power he/she obtained during an accident which allows him/her to travel to and from the local server of the digital world. After diving into the network dungeon which normal users cannot access, the player is able to hack through dense security by collecting Digimon.

In addition, the magazine is listing that the game is scheduled to ship sometime in 2015.

The game's story will follow either a female protagonist or a male one, depending on the player's choice. When strange phenomena begin occurring, the protagonist becomes a "Cybersleuth," and searches for the truth behind the mysteries along with his or her Digimon and their other human allies Arata Sanada and Nokia Shiromine. As with the Digimon World Re:Digitize PSP game and its 3DS port Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode, artist and manga creator Suzuhito Yasuda (Durarara!!, Yozakura Quartet, Kamisama Kazoku) will once again provide the character designs for the game.
