AKARTA: Singer Raisa Andriana says that she's not ready to write and release songs with religious themes, although she definitely wants to.
'I really want to, but writing religious songs has heavy moral load,' Raisa said in Jakarta as quoted by kompas.com.
The 24-year-old said that writing religious songs was very different from writing love songs, because it involved someone's faith.
'I need to be careful,' Raisa said, adding that that she would write religious song when she felt she was able to write lyrics that could touch anyone who heard them.
Raisa gained popularity through cover songs uploaded on YouTube and grew even more popular after performing at Java Soulnation 2011.
