Week-long NSS camp gets under way

Inculcate the habit of conserving environment and participating in community service at an early age. This will help develop the overall personality and nurture leadership skills, Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University G.S.N. Raju said.

Inaugurating the week-long mega National Service Scheme camp at NSS conference hall, AU, here on Monday he said that students should play a significant role in protecting the earth, making best use of their time.

With ‘Environment Enrichment’ as its theme, the mega camp has 300 NSS volunteers from Chodavaram, Anakapalle, Sabbavaram, Elamanchili and Bhimli apart from the city. This year, the event concentrates on community service activities, tree plantation drive, intellectual sessions, cultural programmes followed by competitions.

Assistant professor of Andhra University College of Engineering Hanuman talked on how to face interviews with confidence.
