American Grace Min continued her excellent form by upsetting second seed Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in the opening round of the Collector Swedish Open in Bastad.
Min, 20, had the best week of her career last week by reaching the semi-finals in Bad Gastein and eased to a 6-0 6-4 win over Russian Pavlyuchenkova on Monday.
Pavlyuchenkova has not been in great form and was beaten in the opening round of Wimbledon by Min's American compatriot Alison Riske.
Swedish wild card Rebecca Peterson had hoped to be a home winner but was beaten 6-4 6-4 by Jana Cepelova while Spain's Lara Arruabarrena and Chanelle Scheepers of South Africa are also through to round two.
