When Arjun Janya met AR Rahman

Excited about his first win as Best Music Director (Bhajarangi), Arjun Janya was thrilled to bits that he received his award in the presence of his “god”, AR Rahman. “Today is real special. I have to share here that 10 or 11 years ago, I met my god — AR Rahman sir. He blessed me that day and that’s why I am here. That day, when you shook my hand, changed my whole life and I need your blessings sir,” he said.
Arjun Janya, though has been appreciated by several in the Sandalwood industry for all his compositions, was especially thrilled this year because of the victory Bhajarangi has given him. The music director has also been appreiciated for his song Khaali Quarter from the movie Victory.
