Abramovich's yacht arrives in Malta

The yacht of Russian billionaire, Roman Abramovich, has moored at Boliers Wharf in Senglea for repair works.

The 163-metre, ‘Eclipse’, is the second largest private yacht and has an estimated value of $1.5 billion. It has a 70-man crew and has no less than 24 guest suites.

The luxury yacht also has two helipads, three launch boats, two swimming pools, a night club, a hair salon, a cinema and even an onboard restaurant.

Its owner, Roman Abramvich, is a Russian billionaire who owns the private investment company, Millhouse LLC. A businessman and investor by profession, Abramovich has an extimated fortune of $14.6 billion.

In 2003, Abramovich bought Chelsea Football Club and, with his heavy financial input, has helped in transforming Chelsea into one of Europe’s most successful clubs.

The yacht arrived in Malta from Egypt.
