SUVA -- Fiji and Poland have established diplomatic relations, the Fijian government announced Saturday.

KABUL -- About 16 Afghans were killed and 13 others wounded in attacks in Afghanistan on Saturday as the Taliban insurgents intensified attacks and the NATO-led forces are withdrawing from the war-torn country.
