Leopard enters house in Amreli village, rescued

A leopard created a scare when it entered a house in Nagadhra village in Amreli's Khambha taluka on Friday.

RAJKOT: A leopard created a scare when it entered a house in Nagadhra village in Amreli's Khambha taluka on Friday.
The wildcat entered the house of Babu Vekariya at around 10am. The leopard attacked his wife Champaben, who was later shifted to Amreli Civil Hospital for treatment.
A forest department team from Jasadhar reached the spot. The team managed to tranquilize and rescue the leopard after four hours of operation.
The animal was taken to Jasadhar animal care centre in Dhari taluka.
