JOIN USThe new committee at the Karnataka State Cricket Association has expectedly reverted to the old Safi Darashah Trophy format, having expressed their reservations against the earlier regime’s decision to convert the tournament into a four-day all-India invitational event, which is also the lung opener of the Indian domestic season.
The tournament, featuring two-day matches involving four local teams, will begin here from Saturday with President’s XI, Vice-President’s XI, Bangalore Zone and Combined XI fighting it out for the top honours in the round-robin league.
