Too many cooks don’t always spoil the broth as is evident in the soundtrack of supernatural thriller Pizza 3D, which has five composers for all of five songs.
Slightly reminiscent of the score for last year’s Go Goa Gone, the lyrics and mood are upbeat and crazy. Album opener Gimme Pizza! is the catchiest track of the lot.
Mikey McCleary brings pizzazz with electronic dance music moving towards sitar and tabla towards the end.
Ankur Tewari — he co-wrote it with Tanmay Bahulekar — brings the right amount of masti to it.

Saurabh Kalsi keeps the acoustic version of Tum Chale Diye consistent yet intricate with guitar riffs, violin and piano. Arjun Kanungo sounds soulful and romantic. Theher Ja is a jazz song with Abhijeet Deshpande’s dreamy vocals. Gaurav Godkhindi and Ramon Ibrahim have used instruments like trumpets, bass guitar, violins and piano to create the jazzy sound. The reprise of Tum Chale Diye is as elaborate as the acoustic version but Kanungo sings on a higher note and Kalsi goes full on with the arrangements, resulting in an orchestral sound. The soundtrack ends on a peppy note with Haddiwali Mundi.
Sameer Pandey and Abhishek Kumar have given this rock-electronica song unusual lyrics. Shamir Tandon’s use of electric guitar and drums gels with Ahan Shah’s grungy-eerie voice.
