HUMPTY SHARMA KI DULHANIA

In the upcoming film HUMPTY SHARMA KI DULHANIA, Varun Dhawan gets emotional looking at the climax scene of DDLJ. There is even a train sequence that they have incorporated in the film.

CHENNAI EXPRESS

Deepika Padukone was the lucky chosen one to get a chance to enact the epic DDLJ train sequence in CHENNAI EXPRESS. Not only that, she got to do the scene with the original Raj, Shahrukh Khan himself.

BACHNA AE HASEENO

In BACHNA AE HASEENO, Minissha Lamba is in love with the character Raj from DDLJ and is searching for a similar person to be her life partner. To impress Minissha, Ranbir Kapoor plays the musical instrument that Raj plays in DDLJ.

MAIN TERA HERO

Varun Dhawan says the very famous dialogue "Bade bade shehro me aisi choti choti batein hoti rehti hai" to Illeana D'Cruz in their film MAIN TERA HERO.

BESHARAM

In his film BESHARAM Ranbir Kapoor is peeing in the fields and singing the classic song 'Tujhe Dekha Toh Ye Jaana Sanam'.

DIL BOLE HADIPPA

When Shahid Kapoor (Rohan) and Rani Mukerji (Veera) were putting on the play, Rohan made his entry by playing Tujhe Dekha To Ye Jaana Sanam' and even has worn the same outfit as Shahrukh Khan did in DDLJ.

HEYY BABYY

In the wedding scene from HEYY BABYY, Anupam Kher asks Boman Irani to get his daughter Isha (Vidya Balan) married to his son Raj, played by Shahrukh Khan. Isha's father asks wasn't Raj supposed to marry Simran to which Malhotra answers that Simran ran away before the wedding, and adds: "I wish she had missed the train". Interestingly, the makers have also incorporated 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' song in the form of a ringtone.
