Shaktimaan turns villain in M’wood!
Remember the Indian super hero who influenced a generation of Indian teens more than a decade ago?
While the teenagers are now in their late 20s, Shaktimaan continues to be a hot favourite, with ‘Sorry Shaktimaan,’ and ‘Thank You Shaktimaan’ dialogues ruling even Mollywood films.
Mukesh Khanna, who played the legendary character, has now landed in Mollywood to don a role in Mammootty-starrer Rajadhi Raja! However, as per sources, he is playing a villainous character in the film, as opposed to his widely popular heroic image.

A source close to the film says, “Mukesh Khanna is part of a team of villains, headed by Joy Mathew’s character. Rajadhi Raja’s shooting is done mostly in Pollachi and Mumbai. The Pollachi portions are over and the team will be soon shooting the rest in Mumbai.”
Rajadhi Raja is directed by Ajay Vasudevan, and Raai Laxmi is Mammootty’s heroine in the film. Unni Mukundan plays a guest role in the film.
Mukesh Khanna has also played Bishma Pitamah in B R Chopra’s much acclaimed serial Mahabharat, in addition to many other renowned TV shows like Aaryamaan and Yug. As per reports, he will also be seen in the 2014-release, Border 2
