ice presidential candidate Jusuf Kalla will cast his ballot at polling station (TPS) 03 in Pulo subdistrict at Jl.Dharmawangsa VIII, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on Wednesday.
After balloting, Kalla is scheduled to meet presidential candidate Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo at the private residence of Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) chairwoman Megawati Soekarnoputri in Kebagusan, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta.
Kalla cast his vote at the same polling station where he voted in the legislative election on April 9. The polling station's location is relatively near his private residence.
'Around 9 a.m.,' said Kalla as quoted by kompas.com, when he was asked what time he would go to the polling station.
Kalla said his plan to meet Jokowi in Kebagusan after voting was a form of respect to Megawati. The former vice president said Megawati was a stateswoman who, with all her heart and soul, had made sacrifices for the good of Indonesia.
He is scheduled to go to Kebagusan at around 11 a.m.
Kalla, the former Golkar Party chairman, was convinced that he and presidential candidate Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo would see positive results in the 2014 presidential election.
He said his firm belief was based on increases in the number of voters participating in the election and the great support that he and Jokowi had received from all sections of society.
He was also convinced that all stages of the election would run in a conducive manner and praised the neutrality of the Indonesian Military (TNI) and the National Police in the election. (ebf)
