3 Shashashtra People's Morcha rebels arrested in Palamu

Daltonganj: Palamu police nabbed three members of Shashashtra People's Morcha (SPM), in Panki. Palamu SP Y S Ramesh said this group consisted of five men, of which three were arrested from Balyaree More on Monday. The weapons were kept in the house of ringleader Arvind, who was among those arrested.
After interrogation, police recovered one gun, one rifle, one katta and two cartridges.All these weapons were found hidden in a pile of straw. The other two arrested are Ajay and Kamlesh. All the three are in the age group of 22 to 24, the police added. Two others, Poshnath Singh and Permode Singh are yet to be arrested.
This gang was behind the burning of three JCB machines on Friday. "The burning of each of the three JCB machine was done to extract levy," Palamu SP Y S Ramesh said. This gang was reportedly working on the pattern of Maoist splinter groups like TPC, JPC, and PLFI.
