Abhimanyu aka Abhi falls in love with Kajol in Italy. She tells him that her family members have a notorious background of being ruthless fascists from Keshpur in Midnapore District. Abhi abides by the philosophy of peace and love. He feels that one can conquer the world with love, not by war.
He then goes back to India and makes friends with Kajol's brother and goes with him to their village. There, he tries to weild his charm and win people over. Gradually, Kajol's family begins to appreciate Abhi's honesty. They decide to marry Abhi with Kajol. But Kajol's uncle, Rudra, has a trick up his sleeve. He challenges Abhi to kill his rival's son, and only then would he allow Abhi to marry Kajol.
Here unfolds another story. The rival’s son is none other than Abhi himself, who, over a bitter incident in the family had left the village and also his childhood sweetheart Anjali. Will Abhi succeed in marrying Kajol? Or will he come face-to-face with his past, where Anjali still awaits him?
