Desi Ashton Kutcher shows off B-Town moves

Hollywood star performs at Thapar scion Ayesha and top Google executive Nikesh Arora's high-profile wedding.

Delhi-based businesswoman and scion of the Thapar Group, Ayesha Thapar, tied the knot with Nikesh Arora, Google's senior vice- president and chief business officer, in a lavish affair at a resort in Borgo Egnazia in Puglia, Italy, this weekend.

What may very well be a desi parallel to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's recent grand celebrations, the couple marked their union with bigwigs from both the Indian film industry and Hollywood specially flying in for the occasion.

While the couple was the centre of attention, the other star of the show was Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher dressed in traditional Indian attire. The actor, who was accompanied by partner Mila Kunis, donned an aqua blue achkan kurta with white dhoti, teaming it with a red pagri and cream- coloured juttis. The soonto- be father even took to the dance floor and showed some Bollywood moves along with a professional dancer while pregnant Mila cheered on in the audience.

According to sources, others on the guest list included Google co- founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page, Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg, Hollywood A- listers Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and other select friends. Designers Rahul Khanna and Rohit Gandhi and Christian Dior VP ( marketing and communications) Kalyani Saha Chawla also attended the wedding.

The ceremonies were a Punjabi delight as bridesmaids and friends graced the occasion in elegant lehenga- cholis and elaborate maang tikkas. The bride looked ravishing in an embroidered cream- coloured anarkali and a sequined gold dress with polki choker necklaces, crown tikkas, cascading hair and her enviable bee- stung pout.

This is the second wedding for both of them. While Ayesha was previously married to Engin Yesil, a Turkish telecom tycoon, Nikesh has a child from his first marriage.

Ayesha and Nikesh will split their time between Gurgaon and Silicon Valley after marriage.
