MGKV student leader murder: Accused held

Sigra police, on Saturday, arrested Hemant alias Dablu Yadav, the third accused in Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth student leader Abhishek Singh murder case.Abhishek was brutally murdered on June 29.

VARANASI: Sigra police, on Saturday, arrested Hemant alias Dablu Yadav, the third accused in Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth student leader Abhishek Singh murder case. Abhishek was brutally murdered on June 29.
Police had already arrested two accused persons in this connection on Thursday but Dablu and Anil Yadav had managed to escape. Police said that Anil will also be arrested soon.
Two electrocuted : A minor boy and a youth were electrocuted after coming in contact with an electric pole in Umraha village under Chaubeypur police station on Saturday.

According to reports, Rohit (8) of Umraha village slipped on the muddy road which had turned slippery due to incessant. He fell down and came in contact with an electric pole and got electrocuted. In a bid to save Rohit, Bharat (19) of same village also died.
Three die in accidents: Three persons died in road accidents at different places in Azamgarh district on Saturday.
Rambahal Yadav (70) was run over by a vehicle at Bhimalpur village in Atraulia. He was going somewhere on his bicycle when the accident occurred. The was admitted at the hospital in a critical condition where he died.
Another accident took place in Rani Ki Sarai, where Chaudhary Gond (55) was crushed to death by a speeding truck near Kasba.
Prashant (20) lost his life when he was run over by a car. He and his father Sudarshan Yadav and younger brother Prateek was going on a bicycle when the accident took place. The three were rushed to a hospital.
Prashant was declared dead while Sudarshan and Prateek were referred to the district hospital.
