PPN, Armapur College declare UG cutoff list

The undergraduate merit list of PPN Degree College had been released. The cutoff for BSc has gone upto 92.2%. This is the highest in science stream in any degree college in the city. The cutoff for BCom and BA courses stood at 88.2% and 76.6%.
In Armapur PG College, the cutoff for BCom and BA stood at 72% and 66.2% respectively. VSSD College in Nawabganj also released its merit list on Thursday.
A member of admission committee of PPN Degree College said that the merit for seeking admission in the college has been uploaded on the website. He said that for the general category students in BSc course, the cutoff is 92.2%. For OBC and SC/ST candidates, the cutoff is 90 and 85% respectively.
In BSc (biology), the cutoff for general category is 86%. In OBC and SC/ST categories, the cutoff is 81.8% and 75.6% respectively.
Cutoff for BA and BCom for all the three catgeories have been announced. The students whose name have figured within this merit list should take admission by July 9 and on next day, the first waiting list will be declared.
In Armapur PG College, the cut-off for OBC and SC/ST candidates for BCom is 65.8% and 63.4% respectively. In BA, in OBC and SC/ST categories, the cut-off is 53% and 41% respectively.
The students whose names have figured in the merit list should deposit the fees within five days after the verification of certificates.
Christ Church is yet to issue its merit list. There are 350 seats in BSc and 300 seats in BA. In BCom, the college has 400 seats. tnn
