Bhagini Mandal sub-junior district badminton begins Saturday

NAGPUR: The local badminton season will get underway with the annual Bhagini Mandal Sub-Junior Badminton tournament which will be held from July 5 to 7 here at the Robertson YMCA Hall, Civil Lines.
The three-day tourney, organized under the auspices of Nagpur District Badminton Association, will be played in the U-10, U-13 and U-15 age group categories. Matches will begin at 8.30 am on Saturday with the U-13 girls singles first round outings.
Although, several top players will be missing in action because of the ongoing state junior badminton tournament at Karad and forthcoming All India sub-junior ranking tournament at Bhagalpur (July 7 to 13), it will provide good chance to second string players to establish themselves.
