Chavanke pips Narang

National silver medallist Ashok Chavanke beat Olympic medallist Gagan Narang by two points in men’s air rifle in the National shooting selection trials at the Dr. Karni Singh Range, Tughlakabad.

The results: Men: 10m air rifle: 1. Ashok Chavanke 207.4 (623.5); 2. Gagan Narang 205.4 (620.4); 3. Sanjeev Rajput 184.6 (623.6).

25m centre fire pistol: 1. Omkar Singh 584; 2. Wazeer Singh Rathee 579; 3. Samaresh Jung 578.

Women: 10m air pistol: 1. Sarvesh Tomar 199.4 (377); 2. Yashaswini Singh Deswal 196.0 (382); 3. P. Shri Nivetha 176.3 (377).
