NAGPUR: It was business as usual for
Titan Club paddlers Kadambari Bhandarkar and Devdutta Fadnavis. Both the top seeds registered contrasting victories to take home twin titles in the
Amrut Patwardhan Memorial Table Tennis tournament which concluded at the Ambedkar College Table Tennis Hall on Wednesday.
After winning the sub-junior girls' crown, Kadambari continued her dominant display to register a triumph in the junior category when the seasoned campaigner outclassed Ruchita Panbude 12-10, 11-5, 11-3, 8-11, 11-5 in the finals.
The double delight for Devdutta Fadnavis was not a walk in the park. The experienced southpaw survived a scare against Kalpak Bansod before winning the Youth finals in an exciting 7-game battle 11-5, 13-11, 11-9, 7-11, 7-11, 11-13, 11-9. Later the concluding ceremony was graced by
Sanjay Borikar and former paddlers Geeta Akre,
