Police on the hunt for Tono gang members

    MIRI: Police are confident of resolving the case involving the murder of an Indonesian van driver with the arrest of a suspect, believed to be a member of the "Tono" gang yesterday.
    Miri police chief ACP Gan Tian Kee said the suspect, a 32-year-old Indonesian national who worked in an oil palm plantation, was arrested at 11.15pm at the Batu Niah Food Court.
    He said the police were looking for other members of the gang, including its leader, known as Tono.
    They were believed to be responsible for the death of the van driver, identified only as Anuar, who was found in a pool of blood from injuries, believed to be sustained in a fight, on June 26. – Bernama
