‘About a Boy’ Star Benjamin Stockham Joins Indie Family Adventure ‘Lost & Found’

Joseph Itaya to make his feature film debut as the movie’s writer/director

Benjamin Stockham is going on an adventure for a new role on indie film, “Lost & Found.”

Stockham will play Mark, who along with his teen brother Andy (Justin Kelly), is sent to spend their vacation on a mysterious island with their estranged uncle. While there, they hear stories of their family’s lost wealth and a possible family fortune just waiting for the brothers to reclaim.

The young actor currently stars at the titular character Marcus on NBC’s “About a Boy,” which was just renewed for a second season. Before that, he was a regular on NBC’s short lived White House comedy, “1600 Penn,” and played Robby on Fox comedy “Sons of Tucson.” He has also appeared on “Once Upon a Time,” “Rizzoli & Isles,” and “CSI: NY.”

In addition to Kelly, Stockham joins previously announced castmembers Celeste Desjardin, Greg Bryk and Kim Selby.

Produced by Enlighten Entertainment Group, Sure Crossing Films, in association with Gearshift Films, “Lost & Found” is currently filming in Ontario, Canada and will be completed in 2015. Producers hope for a 2015 Sundance premiere.

The film is produced by Scott Bridges with producers Selby, Joseph Itaya, Jordon Barker, and Borga Dorter. Executive Producers include Jeff Rice and Lee Broda. This is Itaya’s feature film debut as a writer/director. He graduated from USC film school. No distributors are attached at this time.
