: Second-seeded Koneru Humpy lost to Elina Danielian of Armenia and slipped to eighth in the FIDE women’s Grand Prix chess at Lopota, Georgia. She has 4.5 points, while Dronavalli Harika (5) is placed fifth following her draw with Ju Wenjun of China.

Another Chinese, Hou Yifan consolidated her lead, as she moved to eight points. With just two rounds remaining, the top seed has a two-point lead over Ju Wenjun.
