I enjoy working with Sharwanand: Nithya Menen

Are you looking for different roles in Telugu movies?
I���ve done love stories and I���ve also done something different in films like Malini 22. But love stories work the most in Telugu.
Are you planning to sing more songs in your films?
I don���t sing professionally, I sing because people who make my films want me to sing. So as long as they want me to croon in the film, I will sing.I���m not a professional singer where a music director will call me and ask me to sing a song. It���s usually the director���s call.
You are shooting in Vizag, do you find any difference between Telangana and Andhra food?
I���m not really a food lover, I almost eat everything, but I like spicy food, and I���ve tried everything available here. I���m not yet sure about the Telangana and Andhra divide, I need to get used to that still, but definitely there is some difference. The food in Andhra is spicier and oily. It���s fiery and not to be eaten always.
How is the working experience in the present movie?
This movie has been fantastic. The happiest, I���ve ever been in my life. I just love the whole team, everyone, it���s not just the co-stars. They are a comfortable group of people. I���m very fond of Baba (cameraman), Kranthi (director) and I���ve already worked with Sarwa (Sharwanand) before. This movie is a love story and I���m playing a Muslim character.
How is it to work with Sharwanand?
We���ve already done a film together; he is like a good friend to me. We hangout quite a bit because I know Sharwanand well, otherwise, I don���t usually hangout with lot of people. He is a good actor; I enjoy working with actors who know their work.So I enjoy working with him. Both of us have a nice chemistry in front of the camera.
Are you a food lover? Did you find any difference between Telangana and Andhra food?

You have already acted in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada. Will we get to see Nithya in Bollywood too?
There have been a lot of offers but I don���t think I���ll do a film just because it���s a Bollywood film. It has to make sense to me. It���s never been about the language. I���m not really interested in doing a Bollywood film. But if I feel there is something in a very interesting space because Bollywood does do very different stuff now. So, if I get something that interests and excites me, something new, then I���ll do it. But I don���t know whether it will happen or not.
You studied journalism, so does that reflect in your films or the way you choose your films?
N o b o d y goes to college and learns anything. All of us just go to college and waste our time and to pass our exams. So just learning journalism does not mean I���m good at it or any of the journalists are either. There is no difference, it���s just class and it���s just college.
Recently we have seen you in couple of advertisements. Do you choose your advertisements?
I don���t choose advertisements, I know Prakash Varma very well, the guy who directed and produced both the ads. These are the only ads I did because I trust him. Otherwise I don���t do ads.
What is Nithya���s take on marriage and is she seeing someone?
Aa���that is too personal, I rather not talk about my take on marriage. It���s too personal and close to my heart.
