You Again? Celebrity 100 Stars Who've Made The List 5 Years In A Row

While we can all breathe a sigh of relief that Y2K, “Mambo No 5” and the crop top/capri pants combo are no longer trending, a few things — well, people — from 1999 are still as big as ever: namely, Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Howard Stern and Tiger Woods. The four stars made FORBES’ original Celeb 100 list 16 years ago, and have remained on it every year since.

While the other 22 names on this list haven’t been ranked at the top of the celebrity power heap since the turn of the century, they have been among the most successful for at least the past five years — not too shabby when you consider some, like pop and country darling Taylor Swift, are only in their mid-twenties.

Coming in just under of the likes of Ms. Winfrey and co., tennis superstar Serena Williams has made FORBES’ list for the past 15 years. Queen Bey, number one on the list this year, has been ranked for the past seven; she debuted on FORBES’ list in 2004,  and has made the list every year since 2008. Talk about a power couple: this is hubby Jay-Z’s eighth appearance in a row.
