Hyderabad will host the IIT Global Conference, a rendezvous of IIT alumni, from December 19 to 21 this year. About 3,000 IITians fanned out to different parts of the world will gather here for three days.
“The event will be co-hosted by the PanIIT Hyderabad Alumni Association and IIT Hyderabad with support from the Government of Telangana,” J A Chowdary, an IIT alumnus and Chairman of HR training firm TalentSprint, has said.
“We are in the process of identifying top 100 IITians that made it big in various businesses and in social life. We will invite for the 12th edition of the conference,” he said.
The meet would focus on the theme on Digital India and how IITians could help in deploying digital solutions for the development of the country.
The PanIIT held a preliminary meeting at the Indian School of Business (ISB) here on Sunday to discuss the arrangements. More than 250 IIT alumni from Hyderabad participated in the event.
The PanIIT Hyderabad Alumni Association is an umbrella organisation, covering alumni of all Indian Institutes of Technology.
