One-year-old baby kidnapped from roadside

VADODARA: A lady kidnapped a one-year-old girl from roadside in Gotri area recently. The lady, who had identified herself as Chandrika Kala, took away the baby girl Maya when her mother had gone to attend nature’s call. The city police have got CCTV footages of the area that have captured the accused lady’s images. The police said that their hunt for the woman is on.According to the cops, the accused approached Surya Nayak who is a casual labourer.
Surya had gone to Pune and returned to the city three days ago with Maya and another girl, Anjali. When she sat in an auto, the accused lady approached her for help following which Surya took her along. The accused stayed with Surya all day and followed her when she went looking for work. When Surya said that she wanted to attend nature’s call, the accused said that she will look after her kids. But when Surya returned, the accused had disappeared with one-year-old Maya.
