Arrested was agent of sex racket and had been absconding after attacking cops

Hyderabad: West Zone police arrested brothel agent P. Sudhakar Reddy, alias Chandu, who allegedly stabbed two cops on Sunday when they raided a flat at Rahamathnagar in Jubilee Hills. Chandu had been absconding after attacking the cops. Police officials said Chandu, who is a native of Brahmanpally village, in Bibinagar, was arrested by SR Nagar police earlier and was serving jail time.
After coming out on bail, he was working for some sex racketeers in the city. Chandu had attacked the two cops, Konda Reddy and Anjaneyulu, with a kitchen knife to escape. Police said he was an agent of the racket operating from a flat at Durgalamma Residency at Rahamathnagar.
