When kids teach their parents a lesson

Nithyanandam, who has dabbled in Kollywood and also made a mark on television with serials like Anandam and Idhayam, is back on the big screen. The director is now busy wrapping up his Pudhiyadhor Ulagam Seivom, which stars kids in the lead.
Says Nithyanandam, ���I���ve been part of films like Good Luck, and have directed TV soaps for 12 years. I then decided to return to Kollywood, and locked this script.It���s exhilarating to be back to directing films.���
Talking about the film, which has been shot in Chennai, he says, ���When someone makes a children���s film, they either portray kids as being supportive to romance, or show them involved in crime and violence. However, my film will talk about how kids are socially conscious. Without sounding preachy, the film will narrate the story of a bunch of kids who are not too happy with the way their parents behave in the society and how they teach them a lesson.���
The film stars winners and participants of a children���s singing reality show in the lead. ���Aajith, Anu, Yazhini, Praveen, Algates Azhagesan, Narayanan, Santosh Balaji, Suryeswar, Sandhya and Imman Annachi will be playing pivotal roles in the film. Singapore-based Praveen, also a reality show find, has scored the music and the kids have sung in the album too,��� says Nithyanandam.
