LIC agent murdered near house

KANPUR: An LIC agent was shot in front of his house in Unnao on Sunday. The broad daylight murder led to panic in the area. He had come to at his native place to meet his parents. The family members tried to rush him to the trauma centre but he died on way. Aditya Kumar (45) was a resident of Hariyali locality in Bangarmau.
The Kotwali police reached the spot and sent the body to mortuary for autopsy.
Police said that Aditya was at home, when at around 11.30 am a few persons arrived at his house and inquired about him. As soon as he came out, an altercation ensued between them and one among them fired from close range.
Sources said the killers were professionals. "The bullet was shot in such a way that it damaged vital internal organs, slimming down chances of survival," said a doctor.
