Mapusa woman robbed at Navelim bus stand

BICHOLIM: Bicholim police have registered a case against some unidentified culprits involved in chain and necklace snatching incident at Navelim bustand recenlty.
Police said that a complaint had been lodged by Ratan Anant Navelkar, a resident of Dangui Colony, Mapusa. Navelkar stated that, on Thursday, some unidentified miscreants travelling on a motorbike snatched her chain and a necklace amounting to 80,000 , while she was waiting for a bus at Navelim bus stand.
Police have a registered an offense under Sections 356 and 379 of the IPC against unknown culprits. ASI Ankush Sawant, who conducted the panchanama, is investigating the case under the guidance of PI Rupednra Shetgaokar and DySP Gajanan Prabhudesai.
