Synopsis: Even though, the reason for the lead-pair’s split is strong enough, the narration lacks depth and the director fails to bring out the emotions.

Movie Review: Move on in your life and never get stuck at one point - is the underlying message of this romantic entertainer. This movie has been made with the intention of bringing to the fore the plight of youngsters who fall prey to the menace of love failure.

The film begins with introducing the protagonist Naveen, an IT professional, and a ladies man. He falls for Shalini, a new joinee in the office and the two get to become good friends. Just when Shalini wants to propose Naveen, she realises that he was her childhood friend, who plays a prank on her uncle that lands him in coma. He writes a fake love letter addressed to him by his love interest, Malathi (Madhumati).

Even though, the reason for the lead-pair’s split is strong enough, the narration lacks depth and the director fails to bring out the emotions. The interval bang makes the plot interesting but the follow up scene (post interval) turns out to be a comic one instead, followed by a peppy number.

Also, the background score in key scenes fails to reflect the mood of the characters and, on a few occasions, it was totally contrasting to the scenes. A few characters like Viva Harsha, Posani Krishna Murali, etc. look like a forceful insertion targeting the galleries.

Performance wise, Isha Talwar takes the honors as far as acting goes. She has the author backed role. Her attitude against the idea of mushy romance has been well carried off. Pradeep looks every bit the brooding youngster madly in love with a colleague. He has managed to impress with his dialogue delivery. In fact, the two complement each other very well and work up a great chemistry onscreen but he needs to work on comic timing and acting skills during emotional scenes. Komal Jha too carries her role of a HR Manager with elan.

The cinematography is pretty neat as is the music complimenting the tone of the film. However, the narrative in the second half isn’t conversational and the film drags especially towards the climax that falls flat. The first half of the film looks good with witty conversations set in the office backdrop. However, the second half could have been better as the element of emotional depth was found wanting when the lead pair unites.
