Aishwarya plays the lead in Srimathi Jayalalitha

In the Mayamohini-inspired Kannada film Srimathi Jayalalitha, actress Aishwarya Devan is one of the leading ladies. On her online page, the actress recently shared a few images from the audio launch of the film, in which she plays the character named Lalitha.
Srimathi Jayalalitha, directed by Charulatha fame P Kumar, has Sharan playing the titular role. While it has been construed that the movie is a remake of Mayamohini, the film’s official page on Facebook clarifies, “Except for the fact that the hero is seen in a woman’s getup, everything is different from the original film.”
The film also stars Sadhu Kokila and Tabala Nani in prominent roles.Sridhar Sambhram has scored the music. Aishwarya was last seen in Mollywood in V K Prakash’s Jayasurya-starrer Thank You, in which she played a reporter. Her other upcoming projects are Dhanush-starrer Anegan in Tamil and Ayya 2 in Kannada.
