BHOPAL: Body of 22-year-old, who was missing from her home in Aishbagh area a day earlier, was found in Sarangpani Lake near Piplani police station in BHEL township on Thursday. In a suicide note the girl, Tejaswi Sheshkar had left at home, had stated she was opting for the extreme step on her own. Though she had made mention of the name of lake in the suicide note, when her parents reached on Wednesday evening they could not find her.
A security guard at the lake Vinod confirmed to TOI that her parents came there. However, the body was spotted floating Thursday morning.
Initially, it was rumoured that she could be among medical students STF is looking for, but her brother, who studies in Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS) told TOI she was preparing for admission in medical college.
"My sister has completed her coaching from Indore and returned," he said, adding that she suffered from acute headache and sometimes could not sleep all through night due to shooting pain.
However, the exact reason that led her to opt for the extreme step is yet to be ascertained. Statement of family would throw light on causes of death.
The body was handed over to family members after autopsy.
